Who says it’s grim up north?

“Lancaster resident’s shed to be delivered ahead of schedule. Resident reports feelings of mild excitement.”

Good news somehow doesn’t have the same ring of newsworthiness, does it?

A July Manchester miscellany

I ‘did’ the Three Peaks on a school trip when I was about fifteen. I’ve since done each of the peaks quite a few times, but never all three on the same walk. I think you need that peer pressure to see you through. Still – respect for taking up the challenge.

Did you notice that Magic Arm made a short appearance in the BBC’s Glastonbury coverage? Made me go a bit warm and fuzzy.

Congratulations on your Moment of Deserved Recognition. I hope you enjoy the wealth and fame that’s just around the corner.

Those urinal shots are terrific, aren’t they? I particularly like the one with the streak light running long the wall. I’m guessing a very long exposure with somebody walking along with a light bulb in their hand.

Keep it up, etc.

More on the BBC’s blogging habits

Oh. I didn’t go to Blog Class, by the way. I’d be interested to hear from anyone who did though.
