Glad to hear you enjoyed it. I'm sure I'll head down at some point.

Richard's personal blog is in my blogroll. I'll look through those you mentioned and will add any I've missed.

yeah, I went and i enjoyed it, it was interesting, more so than i thought it would be, truth be told i didn't really know what to expect.

My reason for going was really to find out *why* people blog... I mean I have been blogging for a couple of years, but really as a means of showing of photographs to friends and family, not as an online journal to be stumbled across and written with the public in mind like so many out there.

What I think made the group interesting was that each blog was so Different, Richard, our host, works of course on the BBC Blog as well as (i think) several of his own blogs. Julia who works on a blog primarily focussed on Russian literature. Kate who currently works on a blog at a more corporate / environmental level. And Lewis who has a personal blog of musings. What makes Lewises so interesting (apart from the content) is that his appears to be entirely 'hand rolled' eschewing completely the off-the-shel' soloutions of WP, MT and blogger and building his own from the ground up - which is particularly interesting.

So, yeah there was good discussion on all things blogging without gettitng too bogged down in one area - i did enjoy it and will go again.

Thank you for a marvelous service the community. I've not had my tea yet. Might be hyperventilating or something.
