Chumpmag: a free Manchester fanzine
Issue 2 of Chumpmag is available around Manchester now. Founded by Manchester artists Rep and Crispy Duck, Chumpmag contains comic strips, music reviews, poems, short stories, artwork, band information, website recommendations and more.
Issue 2 is a Christmas/New Year special, featuring regular comics (Mick N Roy and The Adventures of Tennis Bat Hands) and a short story, Don’t be a punk, mothersuckers!! Be Like Tommy Tickle and neck some jazz juice, by Smith.
You can pick up a free copy in Piccadilly Records, Dr Hermans and in Northern Quarter skate shops Note and Projects.
If you can’t get into town, you can buy Chumpmag for 99p through eBay. You can also contact Chumpmag through their Myspace page about getting a copy or contributing.

Yes Yes Yall. Word. I read Chumpmag 5 an’ jumped right off the shitter letting a tiny brown bit of turd fall off on the stairs. It was mint. I recommend Chumpmag to anyone. Peas Out.

I found a copy of this mad fanzine “Chumpmag (issue4)” on the floor, in the toilet of Pete and Bernie’s philosophical Steakhouse in Great Yarmouth. I read it cover to cover whilst squeezing out a particularly fierce and ill-tempered turd torpedo.
It seems this publication has an affinity with the lavatory and poop. even so, i HIGHLY recommend that YOU read it as i did.
i feel enlightened.

YES YES…i clocked a copy of this ‘Jazzy Crud’ knockin’ about town in some dirty shitter!…T’was Chumpmag 7 ‘The Prison Issue’…I was droppin’ a wet Jet-Black Guinness shit and pissed meself reading this Mag back 2 front - I particularly loved ‘Von Jeetz’-Chumpmag’s resident agony Uncle on the back page there and ‘Our Man On The Inside’ - Quality.
I recommend this lovely read 2 any Man & Woman, and it truly is best read on the ‘crapper’ thomas. I’ve heard Chumpmag 8 is out in September, so i’m gonna steam down to Oldham St in town and grab meself one of the first fresh copies.

I’m a roofer. I read this mag at work today - Mick ‘n’ Roy i love - fuckin top that! I even dropped a bloody teracota roof tile on my bastard thumb wen i read it. it then fell off roof and landed on the old dear’s tomato plants n destroid um. top mag lads thanx fert laughs. x
