I’m Meek!! And I’m here for my inheritance

Speaking of guerilla art, page three of yesterday’s Manchester Evening News was a story by new blogger Ciara Leeming about literature graffiti appearing around Withington and Didsbury:

South Manchester graffiti

The quotes – including obscure poetry, biblical references and the odd George Michael lyric – have been scrawled across Boots on Wilmslow Road, Christie Hospital and Didsbury Baptist Church.

Local resident George Bridson, a member of Didsbury Civic Society, said: ‘This person obviously has a great knowledge of literature, but this sort of behaviour is unacceptable. It is obviously amusing to him, but is unpleasant for the rest of us.’

Fear not: the police have been called.

Hey Chris, you really should pay for your parking ticket BEFORE you reach the barrier! ;-)

regards,

The Indie Credential

PS. We apologise that this has nothing to do with literate graffiti

Hah! The worst thing was that I ran the length of the car park to find a machine, only to get back and realise there was one right next to the barrier.

You should have heckled.
