Matchbox-sized poetry
I’ve been in touch with James at Manchester-based Matchbox poetry this week, having picked up his (matchbox-shaped) card at the weekend.
Poems by Togara Muzanenhamo, Ray DiPalma, Tim Atkins, Bill Griffiths and others are fitted into matchboxes, which are then sold.

In Manchester you can buy them from Cornerhouse, Blackwells, the Basement and Herbivores (a veggie cafe near the John Rylands Library).
You can get three back issues for the tidy sum of £3 by cheque. Details of how are on the Matchbox website.
James says that Matchbox is released every other month and that he’s planning an event in March 2007.
