The Satyr: Manchester’s premier satirical newspaper
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a newspaper advertised on bus shelters and phone boxes before, but that’s where I found out about the latest issue of The Satyr, out today.
Available from Manchester Students’ Union and online, it’s a five-page effort with all the easy satirical cannon fodder: fake classifieds, blatant untruths, columnists and a topical, The Onion-style political lead story.
I particularly like this on the front cover:
