I just got the Joanna Newsom Ys album yesterday and I've been listening to it on the bus this morning. It's quite lovely isn't it? My goodness, she was terrible. She had absolutely no idea about how to communicate with an audience. It took a lot of patience to sit through that, and I really did want her to be good, she just wasn't. We were only there keeping our seats for when Jose Gonzales came on, who was Top Banana.
