Greater Manchester arts trails
Many visitors and even residents of Manchester don’t seem to know about the Manchester Craft & Design Centre in the Northern Quarter. It’s the perfect place to pick up an original gift, or just to have coffee and a cake in the cafe.
Tomorrow is a particularly ideal time to explore the centre, as it’s the Northern Quarter Christmas Arts and Craft Trail. The event runs from 2pm til 7pm and includes fire breathing, mince pies and mulled wine. How Christmassy.
Alternatively, if you haven’t quite found your Christmas cheer but still want to do something artsy, why not follow the Chapel Street Walking Route? It’s a public art and regeneration scheme just over the River Irwell in Salford.
