EveryClick: a fund-raising search engine
One of the best things about having a website like this is reading the stats. For example, I know that the world and his dog is currently searching for sabirock, 419eater, Tony Parrish and ‘Manchester bus crash Oxford Road‘.
I also know that Michael Taylor at The Marple Leaf recently linked to me, as did the newly redesigned Indie Credential, Stephen Newton’s PR Consultant, Manchester Clubbing and Levenshulme Life.
But something else I’d never heard of just turned up in my stats: EveryClick.com. It’s a search engine that doubles as a fund-raiser - half of its revenue is donated to charity.
Locally, you can help Community Forests Northwest, Manchester Library Theatre Trust, Manchester Aid to Kosovo or the Manchester Jewish Federation every time you search.
What a great idea.
