Philadelphia collective Espers, in the summer of last year, released their beautiful self-titled debut through Wichita. Since then their star has been on a steady ascent through good old-fashioned word-of-mouth, touring (with Stereolab, Devendra Banhart, All Tomorrows Parties) and their recent signing to Drag City in the United States.

Support from fellow Drag City artist Edith Frost – “like JonBenet Ramsey warbling the Patsy Cline songbook” – plus Starless & Bible Black and Ed Cottam.
