Cohesion Live: updated lineup

Now just two weeks away, Cohesion Live at Platt Fields Park is taking final shape. Here are the latest additions:

  • Richard Hawley – Mercury Prize nominee and all round good guy, who’s previously played with Pulp and the Longpigs. His last two albums have both been unsung treasures.
  • Nine Black Alps – Local rockers who signed a big deal with Island and have been billed as the next Nirvana/The Vines.
  • Stephen Fretwell – Scunthorpe-born, Manchester-based singer-songwriter whose stock is currently rising.

Also playing in the newly-added FreeDM tent: Puressence, Cherry Ghost and Jeremy Warmsley, who I tip for big things.

Tickets are now available from Taylor’s Newsagents in Fallowfield and Fat City Records on Oldham Street.
