One direction that this site will likely take is to start highlighting other Manchester blogs.

The community’s growing, whether it knows it or not, and though the Manchester Bloggers aggregator gives some order to this chaos, many worthy blogs are going unchecked.

For example, while searching through the 100-odd blogs Technorati has listed for Manchester I spotted these photoblogs:

Photodude – A very tidy site by John Marquess, a married man lucky enough to own a Canon EOS 350D:

Fontilan – An anonymous, cryptic, photoshopper, with exceptional music taste and wit:

Estate Agent – A highly stupid non-professional white collar worker with a complete absence of communication or organisational skills. Able to charge a fee for either doing f*ck all, delaying every transaction or movement involving property, or just generally being an annoying c*nt. Couldn’t organise an explosion in a bomb factory. He has no mother as he as already sold her and he knows where you live.

Unpopped – Mostly architecture and still life photography from Ade Rixon. Great use of contrast and colour:

Honourable mentions must also go to Aidan O’Rourke, who documents Manchester like no one else, and Peter Carr, who should be based in Merseyside but seems to spend all his time in North America. Lucky git.
